Hall of Fame

Now then.

An initiative we ought to have taken some time ago, we're looking at putting together a PFU Hall of Fame. To be nominated, a player must have upheld the values of this union and have been retired for a minimum of three years. We've got our own ideas, but we'd be happy to hear from you with your suggestions. Drop us a comment on here or twit the Chairman (is that the right terminology? Check this with the office junior before posting - cheers) and we'll start putting it together over the next few weeks and months.

Thanking you kindly.

Kevin Ward must be in the hall of fame. The ultimate prop's prop. No fancy stuff, just head down and trundle down the middle usually knocking bodies left right and centre as he did so, we can forgive the occasional offload to a cheeky half-back. Boots usually blacker than midnight down a well. Wasn't afraid to go toe to toe and eye to eye when the odd misapprobation occurred. Career sadly cut short by nightmare injury. A legend, a prop for all seasons. His stats at Saints confirm his elligibility for the hall of fame:
Appearances: 86 Sub: 3
Tries: 8 Goals: 0 Drop Goals: 0 Total Points: 32
